    Dear Jefferson Community,

    As Technology Director of Jefferson School District, I want to make sure everyone is aware of low-cost internet services that are available to low-income families. With COVID-19 causing many disruption, it is becoming important to have internet access for news, messaging and online school resources like imagine learning which are available to students for free during this pandemic.

    The FCC also offers a supplement to help pay for the internet through their Lifeline Support for Affordable Communication program. https://www.usac.org/lifeline/

  • Checking out Computers

     

    We will be making computer resources available to students.  Monday we will be calling to find out which students need a computer for online enrichment.  More instructions will be made available on requesting a computer and checking one out in the next few days.

     

    Please note that if you don't have internet access at home, there will be paper resources being developed as well.  

     

    Although we do have a good number of computers available to check out to our students our supplies are limited.  Please don't forget that you can use Smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops, and even game systems to access online enrichment opportunities.

    As we begin to offer online enrichment we will do our best to support families as well as teachers with technical support.

     

    Steps for getting support:

    1. Try contacting the teacher for assistance.

    2. If a teacher is unavailable you can submit a support ticket to Our online ticketing system  or you can send an email to Support@jefferson.k12.or.us

     

    Please be aware that we have a limited staff working and there may be limits on what we can support remotely but we will do our best to help everyone as quickly as possible.
