I am currently in my 20th year at Jefferson Middle School, and this year I will be teaching 8th grade language arts and social studies. This is the only school I have worked in, and I don't see myself going anywhere else! I enjoy my students, my coworkers, and feeling like a part of the Jefferson community.
At JMS I am involved in 8th grade promotion, 8th Grade Takeover, and I am co-advisor for the WEB program. I also run the Gotcha store after school.
Outside of school I enjoy traveling - I have seven states left to get to, and two major league baseball parks. I also enjoy visiting historical sites, especially related to the Civil War (that's a field in Gettysburg behind me in the picture). And if you like Star Wars, we would have a lot to talk about!
