Special Initiatives

High School Success is a fund initiated by ballot Measure 98 in November 2016. The measure passed with 65% voter support, and allowed the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) to disperse $170 million total during the 2017-19 biennium among districts and charter schools that serve students in grade 9 through grade 12.

Career and technical education (CTE) is the practice of teaching specific career skills to students in middle school, high school, and post-secondary institutions.

We currently have three CTE Programs of Study articulated with two local community colleges:

1. Agriculture
2. Construction Technology
3. Automotive Technology

 

We will be adding the following Programs of Study :

1. Digital Media in fall of 2020
2. Diesiel Mechanics in fall 2021

 

We will also be partnering with a regional consortium in Fall of 2021 to offer additional programs of study.
